After being accepted into the tournament, you will be required to submit various required paperwork. All required paperwork will be submitted on GotSoccer.

Team Check-In is an easy process. Just log onto GotSoccer with your team account, navigate to the Embassy Cup 2018 tournament page within your team account, and click on documents. There you will be able to upload your documents.

Each team must submit a roster. All teams must have an official club/state roster from USYSA, US Club, or Super Y. You may write-in the name of any guest players on the bottom of your club/state roster (unlimited number of guest players allowed).

Every participating player must submit a liability waiver. For the liability waiver, click here.

Every participating player must also submit a player card - either from USYSA, US Club, or Super Y.

Please Note You DO NOT need to submit a loan (guest) player form for guest players as there are unlimited guest players allowed. Additionally, all players must have a medical release form on file with their coach/team manager for the duration of the tournament; however, these medical forms DO NOT need to be submitted during registration.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT EACH OF THESE DOCUMENTS WILL BE CHECKED AT REGISTRATION. YOUR FAILURE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THESE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WILL PRECLUDE YOUR TEAM’S PARTICIPATION IN THE TOURNAMENT.

The Tournament Committee will retain a copy of your certified team roster and the permission to travel form.

Players not attending the event:

If a player is not attending the event do I leave their name on the roster?

No, if a player is not attending the event; you need to cross their name off of the roster.

Guest Players:

What is the maximum number of guest players a team can bring to the event?

An unlimited number of guest players will be allowed as long as the maximum roster sizes below are followed.

The following are the maximum roster size per age groups:

U09 – U10 (7v7) – 14 players
U11-U12 (9v9) - 16 players
U13 - U19 (11v11) - 22 Players, but only 18 may dress for any given game.

How do I add a guest player?

Step 1: Obtain the guest players current player card and medical release form

Step 2: Photocopy your original roster. Please handwrite the guest player’s full name, unique jersey number, player identification number and birthday below the bottom of the existing rostered players.

Note: US Club Soccer teams may only take guest players registered under US Club Soccer, and USYSA teams may only take guest players registered with properly stamped USYSA player pass cards. No roster may be comprised of players with different passes from different organizations (no “mixed rosters”).

Medical Release Forms
Do I include the medical release forms in the on-site registration packet?

All teams must have a medical release form for each player (including guest players) but DO NOT include the medical release forms in the registration packet .

College Coaches – Register to Attend This Event

 

We invite you to attend this year’s Bethesda Premier Cup Tournament - the Girls November 9, 10 and 11 and the Boys on November 16, 17 and 18 at the nationally renowned Maryland SoccerPlex.  You’ll be able to scout players in the U16, U17, U18 and U19 age groups all playing on premier fields in one location.  Teams from more than a dozen states will be attending this top-ranked tournament giving you an opportunity to move toward completion of your scouting of the 2018 graduates or get an early start of the class of 2019.  The U16, U17, U18 and U19 age groups will play a full and firm schedule of three 80-minute round-robin games, enabling you to know in advance who’ll be playing on which field when, without the uncertainty of game results affecting the schedule.

College coaches should sign up for the tournament by going to GotSoccer.com or Bethesdasoccer.org.  Coaches that sign in advance for the tournament will receive a complimentary player profile book produced by CaptainU that can be picked up at the College Coaches tent located near Field #20 at the Maryland SoccerPlex. 

This year, each game at the SoccerPlex will be filmed by our exclusive video provider, GameTimeFootage, which will provide post-event games to footage through its on-demand platform, Free of charge, to all registered college coaches.

We will send teams their acceptances for the tournament by October 3.  Many have already entered their player data, others will follow shortly after acceptance.  This permits you to do your homework at your convenience in advance of the tournament.  Game schedules will also be posted by early November at http://www.bethesdasoccer.org so you can plan your scouting in advance instead of on the event or day of the games.
