About Embassy Cup
Bethesda Soccer Club, with over 30 years of sponsoring premier tournaments in the fall, in a partnership with the Maryland SoccerPlex, started the Embassy Cup in the summer of 2015. All games are played primarily at the Maryland SoccerPlex, one of the top soccer facilities in the country.
Embassy Cup is a GotSoccer Gold rated tournament for the Boys and a GotSoccer Silver rated tournament for the Girls.
The Embassy Cup offers two distinct levels of competition: Premier & Qualifier.
The Premier division is for top-level teams looking for the best competition available. This division will feature, in the near future, teams from all around the world, as we work with various public and private organizations to bring foreign teams to our Nation’s Capital in a premier setting.
The Qualifier division is for teams that want the opportunity to play their way into the Bethesda Premier Cup in November. Last year we had hundreds of teams that we were not able to accommodate and we would like to provide them the opportunity to gain entrance into the November tournament. This is particularly important for the U15-U17 teams that would qualify to play in the fall showcase. Last year we had over 500 college coaches attend over the two weekends.
We invite you to participate in the Embassy Cup in June, where you can expect our high standards of competition, facilities and organization.
Brad Roos from Bethesda Soccer Club is the Tournament Director.
